ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Youth Organization (AYO) in a letter to the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary has lodged a complaint regarding the delay in completion of the PMGSY road project from Chambang to Yangte, executed by M/S Luminis Enterprise, on Friday. The organization stated that the project that started in 2014, is yet to be completed. As per the contract, the work should have been completed within 3 years, ie: on March 17, 2017.

Due to the incompletion of the work, the people from nearby villages have remained cut off from the rest of the district and have to make it on foot to reach other villages.

The AYO also requested the Chief Secretary to order the executing agency to complete the work at the earliest or blacklist the enterprise. It also added that due to the delay in the completion of the road, there is no vehicular movement which has affected the business community and medical patients.
