Asom Nepali Sahitya Sabha organizes literary session

UDALGURI: The Udalguri unit of Asom Nepali Sahitya Sabha organized a literary session in the house of Puspadhar Bastola, the Principal of Udalguri HS School on New Year’ Day. The programme was inaugurated by Rudra Baral, the general secretary of Asom Nepali Sahitya Sabha, and presided over by Kalpana Chhetry, the president of Udalguri unit ANSS.

The meeting was conducted by Mohan Chhetry, the general secretary of Udalguri unit ANSS. In that session, litterateurs Tarapati Upadhyaya, Bidyapati Dahal, Baidyanath Upadhyaya, Puspadhar Sarma, Gayatri Bhattarai, Nabin Malla Boro and others read out their write-ups in Nepali, Assamese, Bodo, Hindi and Sanskrit. During the literary session, Namrata Chhetry was felicitated by ANSS and others for her success in the APSC exam. She has got the post of assistant employment officer.
