Assam dominate in North East Karate Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam dominated in the North East Karate Championship and bagged another 25 medals on day II at Dimapur today. Among the 25 medals 9 are gold, 5 silver and 11 are bronze.

With these medals Assam took their overall tally to16 gold, 10 silver and 27 bronze. Among Assam players Hemphu Bongjang collected two gold medals in U-12 boys Kata and Kumite event.
