Assam Football Association announce squad for Santosh Trophy

GUWAHATI: Assam Football Association today announced 20-member squad for the North East Zonal round of the 73rd Senior National Football Championship for Santosh trophy. The competition would be held in Aizawl from February 11. Assam, placed in group ‘B’ cluster, will play their first game on the second day of the meet against Nagaland.

Squad: Goalkeeper-Bishal Sahu, Khwmdwn Brahma. Defender-Sampow Rongmei, Shyam Narzary, Hiteswar Hazwary, Subhakshan Rabha, Udit Borah, Mid fielder-Shyam Jyoti Pegu, Pulung Daimary, Rakeb Basumatary, Sirandeep Moran, Sagar Hang Limbu, Jianchun Rongmei, Situ Basumatary. Forward: Milan Basumatari, Tulya Das, Akrang Narzary, Bishnu Bordoloi and Ishak Sangma. Head Coach: Subir Dey. Assistant Coach-Raj Kumar Singh. Manager-Uttam Brahma.
