BPF’s Rowta Block Minority Cell formed

TANGLA, July 19: In a bid to secure the rights and aid in the socio-economic development of all the communities living in BTC, the Rowta Block Minority Cell of Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) was formed at Dhansri VCDC community hall in Udalguri on Tuesday.

The meeting was presided over by Abdul Kalam Majit Ali and a strong 41-member committee was formed headed by Mukesuddin Ahmed as the president and Ashikub Rahman as general secretary. Shyam Sundi, EM of BTC, in his speech said that the BTC was formed for equal development of all along with preaching the message of unity and brotherhood among different communities. He said that BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary wanted the development of minority people living in BTC region.

Attending the programme,  Alindra  Muchahary, EM of BTC, exhorted all the minority people of BTC to come forward and extend their support to BPF for proper development and prosperity of all.
