The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) initiates a movement aiming to impact 50 million people across the nation. This initiative seeks to involve the youth of the country in the CBSE launched pan-India Movement.
The Board has asked young students and teachers from age group 10-30 years to join this movement and help spread awareness. The Board has named this movement as the 'Young Warrior' for all the right reasons, it also aims to build leadership qualities in the young people during a pandemic situation. It plans to instill some important skills like empathy, social consciousness in the minds of young people.
As per reports the official statement by the CBSE states, " Central Board of Secondary Education together with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, YuWaah-UNICEF and a multi-stakeholder consortium of over 950 partners are activating the #YoungWarrior movement. #YoungWarrior is a nationwide movement to engage 5 million young people to lead action against COVID19 and impact 50 million people."
ll students and teachers are asked to come forward to combat and safeguard the families, communities in the country. Reports say that the tasks will be held in different regional languages. Participants of this movement will also be awarded a certificate from UNICEF after completing all the tasks.
The work will mostly comprise a series of real-life tasks which has to be completed by the students or the teachers. The tasks will mostly be like doing vaccine registration, and do essential services, and helping other people out.
