Child labourers rescued at Nazira, Assam

JOYSAGAR, July 18: The Sivasagar District Child Protection task force, with the help of the District Labour Officer, rescued three child labourers from Nazira town on Wednesday. The people who had engaged these child labourers were booked by the team and they have been identified as Abdul Rasid, Ajizur Hussain and Dinauddin Ahmed of Nazira. Acting on secret tip-off, the district task force raided the houses and was able to rescue the children. Three separate cases have also been registered in Nazira PS under section CHL/(PR) Act-1986, sources revealed.
