Cotton University Pays Tribute To Martyr Ranjit Borpujari

GUWAHATI: A tribute programme was organized in honour of the death anniversary of the Language Agitation Movement’s first martyr, Ranjit Borpujari at the Cotton University hostel named after the martyar on Thursday.

The day long shraddhanjali programme was attended by the Vice Chancellor of the University Bhabesh Goswami, AASU Advisor Sammujjal Bhattcharjee, Axom Xahitya Xabha President Paramananda Rajbongshi and the University’s AASU group. Bhabesh Goswami stated during the programme that besides the old hostel named after the Language Agitation Movement’s martyr, Ranjit Borpujari, a new hostel will be constructed also under Borpujari’s name.”
