Demow Model Hospital Comes Third In Kayakalp Award

DEMOW: Demow Model Hospital has secured third position in the Kayakalp Award for fulfilling many criteria such as cleanliness, service, social activities, biomedical waste management, infection control and empowerment of patients and public.

The award was declared on February 15 and was organized by the State Health Department under the National Health Mission, Assam across the State. For the Kayakalp Award, in the external assessment score, Demow Model Hospital secured 85.2 per cent and got third position in the State.

On the other hand, Jonai CHC of Dhemaji secured 86 per cent and got first position in the State while Pandu FRU of Kamrup (metro) district secured 85.3 per cent and came second.
