Dhekiajuli BJP leaders, workers against Pallab Lochan Das' candidature

Dhekiajuli, Dec 2:  For the last few days Pallab Lochan Das of BJP has been seen visiting Dhekiajuli  constituency and  on Tuesday he allegedly held a secret meeting  at the residence of the  former chairman, Dhekiajuli Municipality, John Saikia.

As the news spread around Dhekiajuli,  the local BJP leaders  along with the grassroots BJP workers said that they would not accept the candidature of  Pallab Das from Dhekiajuli if the party high command ignored the local BJP candidates candidature.

Among the BJP leaders who have already applied for  ticket from Dhekiajuli  constituency are   Nibhash Das, Benudhar th, Batash Orang and Tarun Sahu. These BJP leaders have warned the BJP central leaders  not to ignore them as right now there was no Modi wave and the voters would vote on local issues and based on the capability of the candidate.
