Four Assam Players in Quarter Finals of OIL– AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: The boys and girls U-12 years singles events have reached into the quarter final stage in the OIL – AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament which is going on at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex in the city. Four players from Assam have reached into the quarter finals in the boys singles event while all the girls from Assam were ousted from the singles event of the meet.

Boys U-12 singles: Neel Niranjan Joglekar (MH) def Aradhya Kshijit (KA) 6-1,6-1. Sehaj Singh Pawar (KA) def Almas Ebon Ahmed (AS) 6-1, 6-1 (Upset). Raunak Kashyap (AS) def Aryan Borah (AS) 1-6, 6-1, 7-6(0). Jishnu Pratim Das (AS) def Mehul Jyotish (TN) 7-5, 6-2. Showrya Samala (TS) def Yash Patel (GJ) 6-0, 6-3. Antariksh Tamuly (AS) def Rajnish Sharma (AS) 6-1, 6-0. Borneel Bihan Borah (AS) def Parthiv Kalita (AS) 6-4, 6-2. Vedant Bhasin (MH) def Abhilesh Barman (AS) 6-1, 6-0.
