Shillong, July 30: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Kongkal Sangma on Sunday afternoon attended a felicitation programme organised by St. Joseph’s Church, Selsella in West Garo Hills.
Speaking at the felicitation programme, Conrad assured of the Meghalaya government’s commitment to impart quality education in all areas of the state and assured that all matters related to education are being taken up by the government on a priority basis.
He talked about different programme of the government that is aimed to elevate the economic condition of the people and informed the gathering that all critical road projects of Garo Hills have been listed and is being pursued with the central government.
The Chief Executive Member of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council Dipul Marak also attended the programme.
