After Tanushree Dutta has spoken up against the harassment she faced on the sets of the 2008 film, Horn Ok Please, Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and Hansal Mehta among many others have come out in support of actress Tanushree Dutta, who has spoken up about her sexual harassment at the hands of veteran actor Nana Patekar on a film set a decade ago.

Many women and men have come forward and the #Metoo movement is taking shape in India. Yesterday, producer and writer Vinta Nanda accused Alok Nath of raping her in the 90's. Kailash Kher has also been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment. A photojournalist has accused Kailash Kher of sexually harassing her when she went to her house for an interview in 2006. Another woman has also accused Kailash Kher of inviting her repeatedly to his hotel room in Kolkata.

The singer had told the media about the allegations that he respects women and said that he is neither aware of any such act nor does he remember it. Now, singer Sona Mohapatra has accused Kailash Kher of sexual misconduct. She lashed out at him in a series of tweets and narrated incidents in which Kailash Kher's behavior towards her was improper. She tweeted that she first met him at a café in Mumbai to discuss a concert. Kailash Kher placed his hand on her thigh and complimented her and said that he feels so good that a 'musician got you and not an actor'. Her leaving the meeting promptly did not deter Kailash Kher.

He continued to make advances when they landed in Dhaka and kept calling her repeatedly. When she did not answer, he called the organizers to ask Sona to go to his room to 'catch up' and skip the sound check.
