NERIM Group celebrates Science Day in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: With a view to popularize Science & Technology in the society, NERIM Group of Institutions celebrated the 33rd National Science day as a daylong programme on February 28, 2019. The celebration was marked with an All Assam Inter College Prize Money Quiz Competition and a Programming Competition, wherein a large number of participants from various colleges and universities across the state participated.

In the Quiz competition, Aswani Kumar Sharma and Arunab Sharma from Gauhati University bagged the First position while Maanya Jugani from NERIM bagged the First position in the Programming competition. Prize money of Rs 10,000 was awarded to them.

Reknowned quiz master Sailen Baishya conducted the quiz competition and Assistant Professor, Gauhati University, Sanjeeb Kalita judged the programming competition. The Director, Software Technology Park of india, Guwahati, Prabir Kumar graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
