GUWAHATI, Aug 30: The Governor of Assam on Thursday appointed Pradip Saloi Inspector General of Police (Admin) as the Commissioner of Police, Guwahati, in place of its present incumbent Hiren Ch Nath who has been transferred and posted as the inspector General of Police (SB).
