New DCs appointed

GUWAHATI, Oct 10: The Assam government on Tuesday effected a reshuffle in the administration of some districts by transferring their Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and appointing new ones. Dilip Kumar Das has been appointed as new DC of Udalguri, Mahanda Hazarika as DC of Karbi Anglong, Anta Lal Gyani as DC of Dhubri, Kamal Kumar Baishya as DC of Kamrup, Dhiraj Jyoti Kalita as DC of Biswath, Niranjan Barua as DC of Kokrajhar, Sanjib Kumar Das as DC of lbari and Dibyajyoti Hazarika as DC of Dima Hasao. The incumbents of these districts have been posted in different departments as secretaries and joint secretaries.
