No Citizenship (Amendment) Bill discussion in the Assam Assembly on Tuesday

GUWAHATI: Though the Opposition tried to bring a resolution for cancellation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019, in the Assembly on Tuesday, they could not do so owing to the paucity of time. However, the Speaker assured the Opposition that he would try to accommodate their request after a meeting with them in a day or two.
