Northeast India Tour Operator Association Approved by The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India

Dibrugarh, July 31: An association of tour operators of Northeast India approved by the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India, was formed recently by the name of Northeast India Tour Operator Association (NEITO). The main objectives of the body are promotion of Northeast India as a tourism destination in the tourism map of the world and bringing all MoT approved tour operators of Northeast India under one umbrella so that the standards of tourism service quality can be monitored and maintained in the region. NEITO further aims to work in close coordination with the public and private stakeholders for the overall and sustainable development of tourism industry in the region. Vishal Jain of Shivani Aviates, Guwahati, has been selected as founder president and Madhusmita Khound of Avani Travel Services, Dibrugarh is the founder secretary.
