Oil tanker accident

JOYSAGAR, April 27: One person died on the spot when an oil tanker met with an accident on NH-37 at Darikapar in Sivasagar district on Thursday night. An oil tanker (NL-01-K-0492) carrying crude oil from Digboi Refinery met with accident with a truck (AS—01-EC-4643) in Darikapar area, leading to the death of the oil tanker driver R Singh on the spot. Three other persons received serious injuries and were shifted to the Joysagar civil Hospital by Sivasagar Police.
