New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver another term of well-administered and operated government at the centre and that is proved right since the first day of his cabinet meeting. In his meeting with the council of ministers on Wednesday, he has asked his council of ministers to be more punctual and dedicated towards work. As per his instructions, the ministers are asked to reach office on time and avoid working from home.

The reason behind the ministers at the centre to be timely and dedicated towards work is to set an example for the subordinates working in the secondary positions who will learn to follow their top level leaders.

PM is also looking forward to increasing the responsibilities of the state ministers by giving them more roles. He has asked the cabinet ministers to share the important files with the state ministers to work hand-in-hand towards enhancing productivity.

He has also found out ways for faster approval of files. He wants every minister of his council to make sure that they reach office on time, take some time for the discussion of the latest developments in the ministry and start working right away. This will help the ministers in staying updated about their ministries along with also processing the works fast.

PM has also stressed that the ministers should be regular to their office and avoid working from home. The frequent meetings between the ministers and the party MPs and the general public are also necessary as he added that there is not much difference between a minister and an MP.

The five-year agenda that will have to be formulated by every ministry is also mentioned by him. He also added that an impactful decision will have to be taken in the first 100 days of the government.

The meeting further comprised of a presentation on optimal utilization of the Parliament session by Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Nirmala Sitharaman’s presentation on inviting inputs for the Union Budget. She is to present the Union Budget on July 5.
