Six months' pay revision to State employees

GUWAHATI, Mar 1: As per Government Notification FPC 109/2010/211 on Monday , it has been decided that payment of arrear on account of pay & pension revision shall be made to the State Government employees and pensioners additiolly for another six months for the period with effect from October 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008. The Interim Relief already drawn for the period between October 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008 shall be adjusted (deducted) from the arrears arising out of the revision of pay and pension for the aforesaid period. The additiol arrear of pay and pension will be released in a single instalment. However, the existing provision of D.C.R.G., Leave Encashment and other retirement benefits shall remain unchanged, i.e. the enhanced limit of D.C.R.G., Leave Encashment and other retirement benefits based on revised pay are effective only from April 1, 2009 and are applicable only to those who superannuated or died on or after April 1, 2009.
