GUWAHATI: A summer camp was inaugurated in the group center campus 9thmile, Khanapara where more than 100 children residing in the campus participated with great enthusiasm. Many activities such as classes on beauty parlor, French language, dance, motor driving, internet, yoga, stitching, taekwondo and internet have been planned for a period for 10 days with the token payment of Rs 100. These activities will keep the children engage during the summer vacation and will also help to shape their personality. Special interest was shown by the children in learning self-defense technique like taekwondo and other martial arts, a press release stated. A tutor from outside the campus has also been engaged to teach basics of foreign language like French. This summer camp is being organized at the aegis of CRPF Wives Welfare Association (CWWA).
