Two girls drown in Kopili river in Nagaon

NAGAON: Two school girls of Kampur Nix Jorabari village under Kampur police station went missing on Saturday noon after they went to take a bath in the Kopili river. According to sources, the missing girls have been identified as Dhunilata Deka and Jaan Pator of Niz Jorabari village at Kampur. Sources said that soon after the tragic incident, local villagers as well as police, paramilitary forces and SDRF have been searching for the missing girls in the river but till the filing of the report, the girls had not been traced.
