Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had an incredible 2018 so far. The actors impressed the audience with their several films this year that was also a box office success. Ranbir Kapoor gave a success after a protracted time with Rajkumar Hirani's “Sanju”. A biopic based on Sanjay Dutt real life, Ranbir was wonderful together with his performance as Sanjay Dutt in the film. His transformation as Sanjay Dutt from his younger days to older days left the audience in awe of him.

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt was seen in Meghna Gulzar's “Raazi”. She played a role of Indian Spy who gets married to a Pakistani army officer in the film. Based on Harinder Sikka's book calling Sehmat, Alia's superlative performance as Sehmat Khan was a winner. Her character had shades, complex emotions and difficult decisions to be made. However, Alia Bhatt acted conveniently and gave yet one more promising performance. The actress has been winning hearts together with her brilliant script decisions at this young age.

Thanks to their films and success in 2018, last night Ranbir and Alia were awarded Vogue Man of The Year and Vogue Youth Icon of The Year, Respectively throughout Vogue Women of The Year. What is attention-grabbing is these two are talented and also a real-life couple. So it's undoubtedly a cheerful news to them to achieve this success together.

Alia will also be seen working with father Mahesh Bhatt in “Sadak 2”, which co-stars Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapur. Talking about collaborating with Bhatt for the first time, the actor said, “It’s beautiful, it’s amazing. It’s a dream come true.

Whereas, Alia Bhatt said, “My father is directing me. One can’t ask for anything better. It’s going to be very special.”

While the first part of “Brahmastra” is a fantasy film written and it also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy is slated to be released on August 15 next year, “Sadak 2” will hit the screens March 25, 2020.
