There are different types of news which we read every day. Few of them can be fake or filled with misinformation. Most of the time the main news are fabricated or shaped in such a way to defame a person or an organization. Sometimes it can destroy lives. So it is a very powerful weapon for the peoples who have any kind of evil intentions. Facebook is a popular social media platforms. It is mainly used to gain information about the current environment and it also helps us to communicate with different types of people.

But some organization uses this platform in a very bad manner. They spread very bad information which can ruin someone's life. Facebook is monitoring these facts from a few years and has come up with a fact-checking software which extracts the metadata from every news and information to examine the original posts and verify the timing of its making. Sometimes they are so irrelevant that it does not have any relation with reality. The Facebook officials have also appointed a third-party crew to inspect the reason and motive behind each and every post. So right now the new routine is so effective that no one can post any kind of wrong pieces of information.

But there are some drawbacks of those fact-checking applications like it can't verify an accurate fake content thoroughly. Different places have different types of journalism style and press freedom. So Facebook can’t react to all those facts. Sometimes the evil organization funds the evil intentions in such a way that the content looks very authentic with proofs. The fact checker can't differentiate that from a real one.

So we have to take a few steps to prohibit those fake news and information from spreading. This are few things with which you can distinguish the fake ones-

Don’t share any kind of anti-political posts in the time of politics. They can be dangerous for you. Stay away from any kind of post which supports terrorist acts or abusive contents.

Facebook is such a popular medium that most of the people are using it with different reasons. Facebook is also working to stop those evil contents. But we should start thinking on it by distinguishing them from the real facts and share those posts as an awareness program.
