ROING: People in scores came to avail the free services provided by different government departments during the 10th Sarkar Aapke Dwar camp conducted at the Jia village under Parbuk sub-division of the Lower Dibang Valley district on Wednesday.

Lawmaker Gum Tayeng and Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom on the day inspected the department stalls, reviewed the services provided and heard the grievances of the public. The health camp conducted by the Health and Family Welfare department witnessed 183 people registering for free check-up with 104 blood sugar tests, 67 BMI tests, 13 blood groupings, 5 malaria tests and 2 sputum collection for TB tests done.

The Jan Suvidha branch issued 154 forms. The Food and Civil Supply department renewed 73 ration cards and distributed 257 ration card renewal forms.

The Veterinary department distributed medicines for the treatment of 835 heads of cattle, Mithun, swine, poultry etc., to 64 livestock owners.

The Horticulture department distributed 9 farmer ID cards and 33 registration forms while Agriculture department issued 62 forms for farmer registration and PM Kisan Yojana.

APEDA sold 100 LED bulbs to 50 beneficiaries. The India Post Payments Bank opened 12 digital savings accounts and State Bank of India received challan from 14 people amounting to Rs 6,420.
