26 more COVID-19 cases reported in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: The number of active COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh rose to 127 after 26 more people, including two returnees from Bihar and Assam, tested positive for the infection, while two patients recuperated from the disease in the last 24 hours, a Health Department official said on Saturday.

The fresh infections raised the tally to 55,462, State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa said.

At least 55,053 people have recuperated from the disease so far.

The death toll remained at 282 as no fresh fatality due to the infection was reported in the last 24 hours, he said.
