485 new recruits join Indo-Tibetan Border Police

LAKHIMPUR: After successful completion of 44-week-long rigorous training at the Recruit Training Centre (RTC) of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Kimin in Arunachal Pradesh, a total of 485 fresh recruits from different parts of the country joined in the mainstream of the force on Saturday. These recruits participated in a Passing Out Parade and Attestation Ceremony on the same day, taking the pledge to serve the nation.

On this occasion, a spectacular ceremonial parade was organized at the well-decorated ground of RTC, ITBP, Kimin. In the programme, Hemant Priyadarshy, IPS, Additional Director General Eastern Command, Guwahati, took salute of the passing out parade as chief guest. Manmohan Guleria, DIG, RTC, ITBP Force, Kimin welcomed the chief guest, all dignitaries and family members of the recruits who graced the occasion with their presence in large numbers.
