Air Vice Marshal inspects ALG in Arunachal Pradesh

GUWAHATI: Air Vice Marshal, Eastern Air Command, Pawan Mohe, along with other senior officials, visited the Vijaynagar ALG in Arunachal Pradesh today to review the ongoing work to revive the ALG for fixed wing operations.

On his visit, he also interacted with local villagers and assured them of all the help and support the IAF can provide. The 4,200 feet long ALG , which has been unfit for fixed wing operations since 2016 is likely to be operational by end of March 2019, stated a press release.
