All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) Urges CEO To Lift Ban

Itanagar: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA), in a memorandum to state’s chief electoral officer (CEO), has sought clarification on model code of conduct (MCC) in relation to government payments by treasuries and sub-treasuries.

Quoting letters of chief secretary on the issue, the AACWC sought necessary action in greater interest of state contractors who have been facing serious financial problems due to ban on government transaction in banks, treasuries and sub-treasuries. Treatment of serious patients, admission of children in new academic session, rising interest of bank loans are major problems confronting the contractors, it added.
