ITANAGAR: All Kra Daadi District Students Union (AKDDSU) on Friday staged a protest demanding the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board to advertise the job lying vacant under district quota since 2018.

Speaking on the occasion, President Pakyum Talop informedthat since 2016 the members are demanding advertisement of 41 posts lying vacant under district quota but till date, no response has been made.
"Due to such a lackadaisical attitude, our newly created district is facing acute shortages of staff. Due to such delay tactics, many youths have crossed their age to apply for the exam such is the situation now," lamented Talop.
"We students union has also written to the Chairman APSSB even to the Chief Secretary giving 15 days ultimatum to initiate the recruitment process for the 41various vacant posts sanctioned for Kra-Daadi District but till date no action hasbeen made," he stressed.
"On Friday, a reminder cum Ultimatum was been submitted to the Chairman APSSB dated with 20 days time to conduct the recruitment process of 41 vacant posts failing which AKDDSU will have to take an extreme step in the form of democratic movement against APSSB and the State government as well," he added.
AKDDSU advisor Gora Rikham said that due to some political interference the recruitment was not done earlier in 2016 and after the formation of APSSB all the vacant post was transferred to the board.
"We also appealed the political leaders not to interfere in the recruitment process to avoid any nepotism," Rikham added.
