Anti Malaria Month observed at Sagalee in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: Anti Malaria Month was observed at Sagalee in Arunachal Pradesh by a team of State Vector Borne Diseases Control Society (SVBDCS), district health society in collaboration with the District Vector Borne Diseases Control Programme (DVBDC). The team visited the Sagalee CHC, Sub Center Balapu, Gai, Nyimte and PHC Leporiang. Dr KT Mullung, SPO (NVBDCP) spoke about the National Framework for Malaria Elimination and its strategies to achieve the government's target to eliminate malaria by 2030. Further, informing the people about malarial signs, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and preventive measures, Dr Mullung urged one and all to take proper note of the IECs being done in the village level by ASHA workers and at various facilities by health workers.
