ITANAGAR: Arunachal Agriculture Minister Tage Taki called on Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Giriraj Singh in New Delhi on Friday during which they had detailed discussions on various matters related to the veterinary and fishery departments.

During the meeting, the Union Minister suggested Taki to explore the composite farming system in Arunachal Pradesh where farmers can earn at least Rs 5 lakh per hectare annually. He also suggested exploration of lands which can be leased out to the entrepreneurs. "This will help the landowners get employed in addition to earning revenue from their land," said Singh. They also discussed Agriculture and Forestry besdies the scope to import piglets from the United Kingdom among other subjects, stated an official release.
