Arunachal Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona Meets Accident Victims

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona on Tuesday visited the Brahmaputra Diagnostics & Hospital Ltd at Dibrugarh in Assam to enquire about the conditions of patients injured in a car accident at Monigong under Shi-Yomi district on Sunday evening.

Reportedly, the ill-fated Hyundai car where five youths were travelling skidded off the road near Monigong and rolled down to a gorge and smashed on a tree.

All the five occupants sustained serious injuries, and currently four of them are undergoing treatment at Dibrugarh and one at Niba Hospital, Naharlagun.

Speaker Pasang D Sona, who was en-route to Itanagar from Pasighat after attending Agri Fair 2019-20, took time out and visited the hospital and interacted with all the injured and wished them for speedy recovery.

He also visited Niba Hospital and interacted with the patient and his relatives, an official release informed here.
