ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday called on State Governor Brig. (Retd) Dr B.D. Mishra at the Raj Bhawan here and discussed issues like strengthening of the State's economy, developmental initiatives and law and order.

The Governor advised the Chief Minister to initiate moves for attracting global investment to harness the enormous economic potential of the State.

Dr Mishra also suggested for more steps to promote the tourism prospects of Arunachal Pradesh and cultural and films on traditional practices. The Governor shared his concern about drug abuse among the youth and called for strong measures to curb the menace, said a Raj Bhawan communiqué.
