Arunachal Governor Brig (retd) Dr BD Mishra extends greetings on New Year

Itanagar: Governor Brig (retd) Dr BD Mishra on Tuesday extended his warm greetings to the people of the State on the festive occasion of New Year. He expressed his hope that the New Year will bring joy, happiness, good health and prosperity to all our citizens in the State.

In his message to the people, the Governor said that New Year presents great opportunity for all make new resolves and live up to it. It is the right time to reflect on the core values and traditions and move forward with the spirit of “Nation First”.

“The challenges and achievements of the preceding years bring forth a sense of perseverance and pursuit for attainment of higher goals in the New Year. Let us begin this New Year with determination to stand by our ideals, work with honesty, accountability, responsibility and prepare for self audit and mid course correction as and when needed,” he appealed.

“Let us, on this New Year, seize the moment for consciously living our life with purpose, renewed vigour, replacing doubts and negativity with hope, and positivity,” the Governor said, while wishing that the New Year usher in everlasting peace and tranquillity in the State.

“I wish all my fellow citizens of Arunachal Pradesh a very happy and prosperous New Year 2020,” Dr Mishra added.
