ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General K T Parnaik on Friday discussed issues related to border area and other development issues of the state, with Chief Minister Pema Khandu, when the latter called on him at Raj Bhavan.

The governor, who reviewed developmental programmes and policies of the state, commended the chief minister and his team for excellent implementation of flagship programmes. He emphasised that the team must maintain the momentum so that people benefit from welfare measures. Khandu briefed Parnaik regarding the G20 meeting at Itanagar and the high-level meeting on infrastructure along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), which was chaired by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

The governor expressed his optimism for the G20 meeting’s success. He stated that the G20 meeting has brought Arunachal Pradesh to the attention of G20 friendly nations.
