ITANAGAR: A team of Arunachal Pradesh BJP led by its vice president Tarh Tarak, was on a three-day Sarhad Yatra to express gratitude to the Armed forces in the Indo-China border. The team visited the Gora Camp at Taksing, the last border circle, Ujubo, the last Indian village in Taksing sector, Galemo, Maja (last Indian outpost) and Redicamp-Bidak, the last Indian village in Maja-Galemo sector in Tsarichu valley under Upper Subansiri district.

The team embarked on the yatra from January 29 to 31 last. Public Interpreter (PI) Takia Bai and gaon burha of Taksing Chakia Bai, while interacting with the team, expressed their gratitude to the Centre and the State government, for the road to Taksing, which was completed in 2020.

Prior to 2020, the people of Taksing circle and all armed forces had to depend for essentials through head loads from Lemekiang circle which took 5 to 6 days on foot. The villagers informed that all rural schemes are being implemented properly in Taksing and Maja areas.

The people of Taksing circle and Tsarichu valley have requested the State government to established more vibrant villages in border areas so that migration to town and urban areas are stopped, a party release informed here on Wednesday.

While interacting with the armed forces at Taksing and Tsarichu valley, Tarak highlighted various programmes and policies achieved in the state.

He said that all rural schemes for the people are being properly implemented in border villages and urged the villagers to stand with the government.

Tarak said that BJP is the only party in the country which would bring development in all rural areas under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The state BJP team assured the villages and panchayat leaders of various villages to appraise their grievances to the government. Later, the team interacted with ITBP officials and saluted them for their dedication and committed service for the nation, the release added.
