ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) Dr BD Mishra on Monday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Droupadi Murmu as the 15th President of India in the Central Hall of Parliament in New Delhi.
According to information available here, Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana administered the oath of office to the President. Outgoing President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Cabinet Ministers, members of Parliament, senior politicians from various parties, Governors and Chief Ministers of States and officers from the Indian Armed Forces were present, among others.
On behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, Mishra conveyed good wishes to the new President.
