ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Bamang Felix has stressed on the need for enhancing law enforcement strategies, strengthening community engagement and ensuring public safety.
The minister said this when newly-posted Director General of Police (DGP) Anand Mohan made a courtesy call on him on Monday. “Had the pleasure of a courtesy call from the new Director General of Police of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Anand Mohan, IPS (AGMUT 1994). Emphasized on the importance of enhancing law enforcement strategies, strengthening community engagement, and ensuring public safety,” Felix tweeted.
Mohan, a 1994 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre, replaced incumbent DGP Satish Golchha, who was transferred to Delhi. “Hopeful that DGP Mohan’s tenure here will be marked by exemplary leadership, visionary strategies and effective collaboration in ensuring law and order,” the Home Minister said in another tweet.
Advisor to the Home Minister, Nyamar Karbak and IGP (Law & Order) Chukhu Apa were also present at the meeting.
