Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona Calls on Lok Sabha Speaker

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at New Delhi on Tuesday and enlightened the latter on several key issues concerning the State Legislative Assembly.

Informing about the Commonwealth Parliamentarian Association (CPA) India Region Zone-III Conference scheduled to be held in Arunachal Pradesh later this year, Sona requested the Lok Sabha Speaker to attend the CPA Conference as chief guest to which the latter consented, according to an official communique.

Later, the State Assembly Speaker met Snehlata Shrivastava, Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha. He requested her to extend help in strengthening the Assembly Secretariat and also on the training of the newly elected legislators. In this regard, the LS Secretary-General assured to extend all possible help, an official release informed here on Wednesday.
