ITANAGAR: Ten more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, pushing the total caseload in the north-eastern State to 55,190, a senior health official said here on Tuesday. The number of recoveries in the State rose to 54,864 after 13 more persons recuperated from the disease on Monday, the official said.

The recovery rate among COVID patients marginally improved to 99.41 per cent from 99.40 the previous day and the active per cent dipped to 0.08 per cent, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said. Arunachal Pradesh currently has 46 active cases. State Immunization Officer Dr Dimong Padung informed that a total of 13,39,901 people have been inoculated so far in the State.
