ITANAGAR: A total of 19 more people tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, pushing the virus tally to 54,771, a senior health official said here on Wednesday.
As many as 54,080 people were recuperated from the disease thus far in the state including 19 on Tuesday, the official said.
The death toll in the northeastern state remained at 277 as no new casualty was reported in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said.
The recovery rate among Covid-19 patients remained at 98.74 per cent, while the active percentage stood at 0.75.
Arunachal Pradesh currently has 414 active cases.
Lower Dibang Valley district has the highest number of active cases at 72, followed by Lohit (70), West Kameng (64) Tawang (48) and East Siang at 41 cases.
As many as 11,54,526 samples have been tested for Covid-19 so far, including 2,009 on Tuesday, Jampa said adding, the positivity ratio in the state stands at 0.94 per cent.
According to State Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung, a total of 12,08,914 people have been inoculated thus far in the state.
