Arunachal Pradesh logs 41 new Covid-19 cases

ITANAGAR: Single-day recoveries continued to surpass fresh Covid-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh, as 68 more people recuperated from the disease while, 41 fresh infections reported on Tuesday, a senior health official said

The north-eastern state on Monday recorded 35 recoveries against nine new cases. With the new cases, the Covid-19 caseload in the state rose to 66,246. The toll remained unchanged at 296, with no new fatality recorded in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said. Arunachal Pradesh currently has 295 active cases, while 65,587 people recuperated from the disease thus far.

So far over 18.09 lakh people have been inoculated with coronavirus vaccines in the state, State Immunisation Officer (SIO) Dr Dimong Padung informed.
