CHANGLANG: Arunachal Pradesh MP Tapir Gao said that he will donate his MPLADS funds for procuring facemask, sensitizers and other items for the people of entire districts under the eastern parliamentary constituency during a meeting held at Miao here on Wednesday.
The meeting was also attended by Health Minister Alo Libang, Minister Food and Civil Supply Kamlung Mossang, Bordumsa-Diyun legislator Somlung Mossang, Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte and community based organization, public from various villages.
"Many of the major road projects connecting Changlang, Khonsa and Longding have been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic," he said while informing that the State government has already dispatched 20 crore for the survey work of industrial corridor.
He said that the development of the State should not be halted due to the pandemic. Beside the developmental work should go side by side along the pandemic with utmost precautions and following the SOPs.
Gao requested his district BJP party worker and public to support the Police Department, Health workers and district administration during this pandemic for the greater interest of the State.
