Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women condemns the killing of 18-year-old girl at Kimin

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) condemned the murder of Late Alef Basumatary of Milanpur Village, Assam. The girl, aged around 18 years, was found death at Kimin, Papum Pare district on May 15. APSCW Chairperson Radhilu Chai Techi along with commission members met SP Capital T Ammo at his office chamber and discussed in detail regarding the case of Basumatary. The team also visited the Women Police Station (WPS), Itanagar today and had a discussion with the Officer-In-Charge and alleged accuse.

Meanwhile, the commission has expressed its sadness and anguish on the triple murder case of Daporijo. The commission urged the investigation teams to expedite and put an early submission of charge sheet for both the murder cases, so that justice may be delivered to the victims and their families.
