Arunachal: Road accident in Hollongi, one dead and one injured

Itanagar: In a road mishap, a 26-years-old boy lost his life on the spot and another one was seriously injured on the Itanagar-Hollongi road at Chimpu, near Dumping ground. The incident took place on Saturday night. Both of the boys were travelling in a Tata Sumo vehicle.

The deceased has been identified as Lt. Son Tayum, who is the son of Kagur Tayum from Kamrung Village of Seppa in East Kameng district of Arunachal. The SDPO of Itanagar, Kamdam Sikom informed about the same.

Sikom also informed that the incident occurred around 10.45 PM on Saturday night. Both of them went out to the Hollongi-Itanagar road after they repaired the vehicle for the entire day.

The family of the deceased Tayum claimed that there is no foul play in the accident. The body of the deceased was handed over to the relatives of Tayum after conducting the formalities. The injured person was taken to the Heema Hospital, said Sikom.
