Arunachal: Special drive for precaution dose in East Siang

Pasighat: As part of "Covid Vaccine Amrit Mahotsava", East Siang District formally launched a special vaccination drive for precautionary doses for 18 years and above beneficiaries at Covid Vaccination Centre, Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat (BPGH) here today.

Chief Councillor, Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) Okiyam Moyong Borang inaugurated the vaccination drive and also formally opened the precaution dose vaccination container box in presence of Joint DHS (T&R), BPGH, Dr T. Tali, DMO, East Siang District and other health officials. Borang urged the general public of the Pasighat Municipality and East Siang to avail the free precautionary Covid -19 vaccine dose. The Covishield Vaccine is given as a booster dose for 18 years and above age and is available at Bakin Pertin General Hospital(BPGH), Pasighat.

The precaution dose can be taken by the people/beneficiaries who had taken the double dose of covid-19 vaccination Six (6) months prior to the day of the precautionary dose of vaccination.
