ITANAGAR: A team of 15 members from Arunachal Pradesh participated in the two days 'Border Area Programme' organized by the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) Nagaland at Sherathang and Kupup near the Indo China border in Sikkim.

The Arunachal team led by Nyayir Riba displayed Galo folk dances, culture and tradition. Among others, artists from Nagaland, Rajasthan, Haryana and host Sikkim also presented their folk songs and dances.

The programme was attended by Bhim Kumari Sharma, Advisor to Sikkim Culture Department, along with Army officers and jawans. The two-day programme was organized by NEZCC in collaboration with the Sikkim Department of Culture during March 27 to 28.
