SEPPA: East Kameng district BJP today organised a bike rally to strengthen the party workers which started from Seppa general ground and culminated at Bana where there was a public meeting later.
Attending the meeting state BJP vice president cum party spokesman Tadar Dominic asked the party workers to work for the public and strengthen the party for the ensuing Assembly Election 2019.
He said, ‘‘Earlier BJP at Seppa was very week but today it’s reached to the height where we have the potential to bring our own party representative.”
Speaking on issuing party ticket to the MLA contender from the 10th East Seppa for the 2019 general assembly elections, he said, ‘‘As we don’t see any competent leader beside the present sitting MLA so hopefully the party will provide ticket to him’’.
He also added that, BJP General Secretary, Eastern Zone Lellung Lingfa who being from the party could have sought for the ticket but his supreme sacrifice to represent Tapuk Taku is praiseworthy.
“We are much hopeful that under the present leadership of the constituency Tapuk Taku we will again win in the 10th East AC,” he said.
Requesting the people of the constituency to maintain brotherhood during elections, Tadar said that most of the time during elections there is misunderstanding, fight and fragments in family which should not be. “An election to find a better representative for the all round development of the district should not come at the cost of fights and misunderstanding among the family,” he said adding that family will always remain family but elections will come and go.
Present on the day MLA Tapuk Taku said that the rally was organized to recognise all the party workers from the colony, sector to village people. He said BJP party is for development of the state and every single worker of the party should promise to work for the party and Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Clarifying the workers and the people on allegations framed against him by Reformative People’s Forum (RPF) he said that these group of people are pro BJP and with the intention to tarnish the hard earned image and reputation of mine which has no iota of truth.
“This allegation by few vested recently formed group is totally motivated by someone and influencing to turn down the party image and I have no involvement on any of the allegation framed upon me” he said.
Meanwhile, Lellung Lingfa said that we are very much positive that in the next assembly elections we see the same Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
He also informed that the BJP had earlier derecognised many leaders from the party for the futile public announcement that they are contesting from the BJP. The district BJP also presided over an oath taking ceremony for mission 2019, where it was promised that whoever gets the party ticket the workers should dedicatedly work for him bearing in mind that it is for the cause of the public as well as the party.
